MG & Triumph Spares Day 2021

Quote from Bob Hubbard on 21st November 2020, 6:07 amHi all.
I had an email through this week regarding The MG & Triumph Spares Day. They have had to move the venue further up North. Due to my current situation it's a bit far for me to do and its too much / too little for me to attend for a 1 day show. If any one is interested in doing the show I will pass on the details. Below is part of the organisers Email. Kind Regards. Bob.
Some of you may of already seen that the MG & Triumph Spares Day has had to move venue, this has happened recently with the news of Stoneleigh Park taking on changes with having more permanent tenants on a long term hire, this limits the event space available and it wouldn't be ample space to hold the MG & triumph therefore we have found the new home of The Telford international Events Centre which is a extremally well kept venue offering plenty of room which will also allow us to implement larger gangways to make it covid safe.
The Venue offers 1300 parking spaces on the site and additional parking adjacent to the venue and I have also secured plenty of exhibitor parking - the venue has great access with loading doors on every hall and it will be the same live promotions staff around all weekend making the transition as easy as possible for us all

What a shame as it is the the show we have attended annually for the longest (over 10 years).
Personally I think that it is too far for quite a few of us and unless someone more local would like to take over the batten this year perhaps we should miss 2021 to see how much of a success it is and then discuss options for 2022.

Quote from lucasm on 21st November 2020, 3:44 pmHi Bob, It's a shame that the MG day has moved to Telford, not really central or the easiest place to get to for us down south, could possibly work for those in Wales and West Midlands.

I also feel it's a shame that the show has moved and a lame excuse too.
Seems the Jaguar show is till there along with Land Rover and the classic Motor Sport show
So I will not be going to Telford on principle.
