Even more confusing. When I typed in the symbol, in this case a colon and a bracket, the Smiley appeared. This might explain why the other one suddenly appeared. It's still 'double dutch' to me, apologies again Rob! 😮

Perhaps it is caused by the fact that you use a laptop or computer while being in France, maybe you should buy an ordinateur ? :p
No can't be this website is still british.

I do use a QWERTY keyboard but I don't think that's any problem. All the facilities for accents etc are available in various ways. I have the smileys 'sussed out' now so all is OK.
